What do user have to say for B450 Aorus Elite V2 motherboard?
As per user on Reddit: “I just bought that mobo and it’s great i think for my 3700x. Low vrm temps (True 8+2 Phases i think not like the V1) and Precision boost overdrive boosts are decent. But there is some lack of BIOS settings for overclocking like setting our your own PPT TDC and EDC values. It’s true that there’s not enough articles about it on the internet but i think it’s the best “budget card” for 105w TDP X ryzens”
On difference between V1 and V2 one user on reddit said:
“V1 was [4×2]+3.
8 CPU virtual phases (4 true) using 1 low side and 2 high side per 2 phases.
3 SOC true phases.
Meanwhile V2 instead is [4×2]+2
Similar to the B550 Aorus Pro V2 with phases in parallel, but with 1 less SOC phase.
This is why they market their V2 as “8+2 Phases Digital Twin Power Design”. Keyword being “twin” ”
